| These critter appliques are
nested or set-in to the fabric so all the bulk of heavy, napped fabric is
cut away. They are perfect to use on fabrics such as chenille (as shown
below,) fleece, knitted sweaters or even fur. They are great to use on
ready-made items including things like jackets, towels and curtains.
They are also two-sided so they look exactly the
same on both the front and back side of the project when completed, only
facing in opposite directions.
There is no stiffness in the design because the
bulk is gone and it flows with the fabric. That means no skin irritation
as you can use soft fabrics when making baby items and children's
clothing.
Fabric is not
hooped, but is laid on top of the hooped stabilizer and the fabric under the applique is
cut away during the embroidery process. Click the how-to page above to view
and print step-by-step pictures.
Designs may also be embroidered as a
regular, one-sided applique and text instructions are included with the set. |

You will LOVE these
appliques. There are very few thread color changes! |

On left above you can see
chenille texture on the fabric front.
On right designs look the
same on fabric back, only facing opposite directions. It is hard to tell
the back and front apart when using the same fabric. See the designs below
sewn on fleece. |
